SUMMARY:Tie Dye Class @ BLISS JOY BULL
DESCRIPTION:Take an evening and tie dye your clothes! This 1.5 hour class will take your stained\, tired clothes and turn them into tie dyed works of art! You will tie and dye your garments and bring them home to "cure".\n\nGarments will need to be kept in a plastic bag or container over 24 hours after the class. You'll be given full instructions at the end of the class for how to take care of your dyed garments. For adults 18+. \n\nChoose Your Date & Time: Wednesday\, June 10\, 6:30 - 8:00 PM or Thursday\, June 25\, 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Weather permitting. We'll be dyeing outside so we will cancel/postpone if there's inclement weather\, or move inside if it's available. \n\nThis is for anyone who:\n\n\n	needs a clothing refresh\n	wants to cover up stained clothing\n	wants an evening of dyeing fun!\n	are tie dyeing beginners\n	is aged 18+\n\n\nThis technique is best for: \n\n\n	Items that are white or light colored 100% cotton\, linen\, hemp\, or rayon or items with at least 60% natural fibers. Items less than 100% cotton\, etc will dye more pale.\n	Not meant for silk or wool clothing\n\n\nWhat's included:\n\n\n	tools and materials to dye up to two garments while you're here!\n	instructions for how to take care of your dyed garments\n\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n\n	2 items to dye\, such as: jeans\, t-shirt\, hoodie\, socks\, tank top\, button down shirt. Please reach out if you have questions about what to bring!\n	1 plastic bag plastic container with a lid for each item\n\n\nWhat kind of dye will be used? We will use Procion MX type dyes\, a synthetic and permanent dye once all excess dye has been washed out the garment. Procion MX type dyes are relatively non-toxic and safe to use. Once added to water\, these dyes are super safe. They cannot penetrate the skin and leech into the bloodstream. Even if they are ingested they aren't dangerous (but we obviously don't recommend this). Once in solution they can only be harmful when sprayed (so wear a respirator and not just a mask when spraying). Otherwise the worst that can happen is they can dye your skin another color or the soda ash can dry out your skin. \n\nLocation: 1210 W Granville Ave\, West Storefront. We're located a block west of the Granville red line station and the Broadway 36 bus.\n\nAccessibility & Parking: (If we're working inside): There are two steps down to get into the space. Our restroom is not ADA compliant. There is paid parking on Broadway and Granville Ave. I generally can find parking further west on Granville that's free. Note: there's permit parking perpendicular and north of Granville Ave. \n\nWorkshop Policies: Please review policies below before committing to a workshop.\n\n\n	If BLISS JOY BULL needs to cancel a workshop\, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule.\n	At least 4 people are needed for this workshop to run.\n	Due to limited workshop capacity\, store credit refunds are only available for cancellations made at least one week in advance. Thank you for your understanding!
