Centro Romero is coming to Unity Chicago! Come learn more about our friends at Centro Romero as they join us on Sunday. They will be available to answer any questions and talk about their wonderful organization and our Back-to-School Fundraiser in the social hall.

Unity Chicago is helping the families of Centro Romero get ready for the upcoming school year!

Drop off your school supplies at Unity Chicago or make a donation and we’ll deliver it directly to Centro Romero. This annual fundraiser helps over 130 children that rely on Centro Romero’s support with necessary supplies like backpacks, pencils, notebooks, and more. 

Centro Romero is a local nonprofit dedicated to serving the refugee immigrant population in the Northeast neighborhoods of Chicago, where Unity Chicago calls home.

We are accepting both monetary donations and school supplies July 6th through August 17th. Items can be dropped off on Sundays and donations can be made here. Make sure your contribution is designated as Back-to-School Supplies Drive.

• 1.5” Binders, 2-Pocket Folders, Pencil Pouches or Supply Boxes
• Composition Notebooks, Spiral Notebooks, Loose Leaf Paper, Graph Paper, Copy Paper, Sketchpads
• Red Pens, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Washable Markers, Highlighters, #2 Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers
• Glue Sticks, Liquid Glue, Safety Scissors, Rulers, Calculators
• Hand Sanitizer, Kleenex
• Earbuds
