About Us

Friends of the Edgewater Library supports the library by providing funding for programs and materials. In recent years it has purchased furniture and toys for the children's play space, furniture for the YouMedia teen space, books and materials for the library's collection, and programs that interest all ages. Activities and programs are intended to encourage visitors to the library, inform them of the library's resources, support literacy, and enhance the community experience. The group is a volunteer-led, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
