About Us

Northside Catholic Academy (NCA) is a vibrant, faith-based school community serving families across Edgewater, Rogers Park, Andersonville, and Uptown. As a regional Catholic school of the Archdiocese of Chicago, NCA provides a dynamic and inclusive educational experience for students from preschool through 8th grade, welcoming families of all backgrounds and faith traditions.

At NCA, we are committed to developing the whole child—intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. Our rigorous academic program is complemented by our signature STAMP curriculum (Spanish, Technology, Art, Music, and Physical Education), ensuring that every student has access to a well-rounded, hands-on education that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students engage in experiential learning through field studies across Chicago, interdisciplinary projects, and opportunities to present and perform, building confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Rooted in our mission to form “minds that think, hearts that love, and hands that serve,” NCA places a strong emphasis on service, leadership, and community. Our House System—featuring Tolton, Day, Cabrini, and Acutis Houses—promotes belonging, mentorship, and character development across all grade levels. Students regularly participate in service initiatives throughout the city, living out values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility.

NCA is deeply connected to the local community through its four partner parishes—St. Gertrude, St. Jerome, Holy Child Jesus, and Mary, Mother of God.
