Raven Theatre Company
Threatre
Raven Theatre, founded in 1983, moved into its permanent home in a repurposed grocery store in November 2002. The building contains two performance spaces: the 99-seat Johnson Stage, and the 58-seat Schwartz Stage. Raven officially became an equity theatre company in 2021 and is the recipient of several Equity and Non-Equity Jeff Awards, as well as many nominations. Each year, Raven produces three plays ranging from world premieres to newly commissioned work, a kid’s summer camp, post-show talkbacks, community events, and reaches 3,000+ children through partnerships with school programming. Both stages, as well as the lobby, are available for rentals and regularly houses a number of visiting and residential theatre companies. Raven brings magic to the stage and is the perfect place for a community to learn, grow, and- most importantly- be entertained.
